Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 medium ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cultured plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon filtered water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 small minced/grated garlic clove

Instructions

  1. Add the flesh from 2 medium ripe avocados, ¼ cup chopped cilantro, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons cultured plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon filtered water, 1 ½ teaspoons lime juice, ¼ teaspoon sea salt, ¼ teaspoon lime zest, and 1 small minced/grated garlic clove to a mixing bowl.
  2. Use an immersion blender to blend until it’s the consistency of a smooth cream.

Notes

This avocado cream goes light on the salt and tops salty meals well. For lightly salted meals, you may want to increase the salt in the avocado dip to 1/3 teaspoon or so.
